Doi Inthanon is located in northern Thailand, near Chiang Mai. You have nearly two hours drive to get to the park from Chiang Mai.
It is the home of The Roof of Thailand, and you will see the sign ‘The highest point of Thailand’ when you get there.
Due to its geographical location, Doi Inthanon enjoys a different climate and different trees and birds species compared to other parts of Thailand. In Doi Inthanon national park the weather is much cooler and the monsoon season makes the sceneries absolutely amazing.

The park’s area amounts to 482 square kilometers and ‘the roof’ is 2565 meters high.
