1. Khao Pad Goong

Khao Pad Goong is basically fried rice with shrimp and veggies and is mostly served for lunch. The fried rice can be eaten with other proteins too, but the shrimp version, especially after adding lemon juice and Thai chili condiment is absolute heaven.

Thom kha gai or Thom ka soup is a must-try Thai dish. The Thais serve it as a curry with rice, but some also like to serve it as a thick soup. The ingredients are galangal or ginger, kaffir lime leaves, Shiitake or oyster mushrooms, coconut milk, fish sauce, lemon grass, chicken, onion and chilies.

3.Khao Pad Sapparod

Khao Pad Sapparod is a Thai dish made from shrimp (or any other meat), fried rice, fried vegetables, chillies, roasted cashews, pineapple pieces, coconut milk and fish sauce, served inside half a pineapple.

4. Khao Soi

Khao Soi is one of the most famous dishes of northern Thailand. Boiled and fried noodles, Thai red curry paste, coconut milk, chicken pieces, soy sauce and fish sauce are the ingredients.
